Welcome to POT FICTION!

The purpose of this blog is to be the destination for anyone interested in weed’s place in popular (or unpopular) fiction.

Stoners are often characterized unfairly: as people that don’t read much, or couldn’t care less about the written word. Nothing could be further from the truth. Cannabis consumers number in the millions, and are just as varied and diverse as the regular population.

As the herb becomes legal and moves from being demonized to being embraced, this blog will be the place examining an emergent genre: pot fiction.

We’ll feature interviews with authors writing cannabis-heavy stories. Books, news and old, will be reviewed, with an eye toward capturing weed’s role in the story.

Thanks for coming by, I can’t wait to get started.

I published a pot fiction novel this last March called The Hypocrites that may be of interest to you. It’s received some fairly positive reviews on Amazon and Russ Belleville reviewed it as well. Feel free to check it out. Or not. Either way, glad to see this kind of forum exists.

Mara, awesome! This is exactly the reason I started this blog: to get fellow cannabis authors and readers all together in one place.

I’d love to review your book. I have a few things in queue at the moment (don’t want to publish which things are in queue in case they don’t materialize), but I can certainly add yours to the list. It sounds really neat, loving the short story format.
